This project features a vibrant Rata Market Posters series for the annual Rata Market 2024 across Mallorca. I created these unique event posters to fuse art, design, and local culture. My aim was to capture each market’s distinct essence and lively spirit, transporting viewers to its atmosphere through vivid animated figures and local crafts.

Creative Process & Color Palette

My process began with researching each venue’s character. I used a reduced five-color palette, inspired by the Rata Market brand, plus a special tenth-anniversary accent. Despite this, each of these Rata Market posters offers unique characters and compositions.

I chose a dynamic, comic-inspired digital style. It uses bold flat colors and strong lines. This approach made the illustrations instantly recognizable and helped capture each market’s vibrant energy.

Impact
The Rata Market Posters saw prominent printing and exhibition throughout Mallorca. They were also adapted for social media, significantly expanding their reach. Each piece builds a strong, memorable visual identity that successfully promoted Rata Market 2024.
