Compromís Metropolità 2030
The ‘Compromís Metropolità 2030’, (the result of the process Barcelona Demà) is the new strategic plan for the metropolitan area of Barcelona. It is geared towards boosting a new model of prosperity and placing it as one of the leading metropolises in the fight against the climate emergency through 8 missions. I was in charge of translating each concept into 8 illustrations.
Each mission uses two main colors from the corporate palette of 9. I challenged myself to play with a reduced palette of 5 for each illustration (two main colors + three that combine harmoniously).
I accompanied the 8 presentations in different municipalities painting live with acrylic markers, the representative illustration of the day’s mission.
The illustrations were digitised to be included in the project’s compilation dossier, alongside the in-depth explanations of each mission. To close the project, the original works were exhibited at the official launch event, and the initiative was featured in an extensive report in the local newspaper El Periódico.
